A short workflow
Most background removers begin with an existing photograph and estimate what belongs to the subject. Pellucen can do that, but it can also generate a new subject directly with an alpha channel. The workflow is intentionally transparent: you can see and change the prompt before any image is created.
Write a short subject description, or upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 10 MB. The server checks the file signature rather than trusting the filename.
DeepSeek translates and structures your copy into an English generation prompt. It starts with the RGBA transparency instruction and remains editable by you.
The server sends the final request to the image model, retries temporary upstream failures, and returns a private result that expires after 24 hours.
Two inputs, one result
The text path is useful when you need a clean object but do not have a source photo. Describe the subject, composition, materials, and lighting. The rewritten prompt adds explicit transparency language, framing guidance, edge quality, and negative instructions so the image model does not invent a floor or backdrop. This is helpful for product concepts, icons, illustrations, and ecommerce drafts.
The upload path is for existing images. Choose a photo with a clear separation between subject and background, then let the image model isolate it. Fine hair, glass, smoke, and semi-transparent fabric are inherently difficult for every cutout method, so inspect those edges carefully. Pellucen does not promise pixel-perfect compositing, but it gives you a fast first pass with a transparent PNG you can polish in your editing software.
Both modes call the same server-side image API. API keys never enter the browser bundle, and uploaded files are validated before forwarding. Text is sent to DeepSeek only for prompt rewriting; image generation always uses the separate image model configured by the site owner.

Transparency is most useful when the file stays transparent. Pellucen previews the result efficiently but produces the download with a canvas PNG encode so alpha is preserved. You get three free generations per IP each day, with Cloudflare Turnstile protecting the endpoint. Generated files expire from the result store after 24 hours.
